Summer Camps 2012
Our camps were designed for children to have fun while learning new painting or glass techniques and different types of art. Camp days are offered individually so your child can pick and choose which projects appeal to him or her - sign up for one or more!
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Age: 7 and up
Cost: $50 - $55 per session
Multiple Discount: 10% off the camp fee if you have more than one child signing up (does not have to be the same session). Children must live in the same house.
- A signed registration form and payment in full are due at least one week before camp date to reserve your child’s spot.
- Refunds for cancellation will only be given with a minimum of a one week notice.
- In the unfortunate event that we do not have at least 6 campers signed up for a session at least one week prior to the camp date the session will be cancelled and a full refund will be given.
- Sign-up in person or by phone.
- Print and fill out the Registration Form before coming in, to save time (or use the Fillable PDF Registration Form).

Pottery Painting / Clay / Glass Fusing
We will paint a 6” ceramic tile as a background in order for us to make and apply a clay self-portrait.
We will also create a funny face out of glass which will be fused then slumped into a photo holder.

Clay Hand Building / Ceramic Bubble Painting Technique
You may think this sounds fishy, but it is going to be a whole lot of fun! We will start off the session 
by taking a ball of clay and turning it into a really great looking fish! This will be done by a hand building technique and will be painted the same day.
A very unique bubble blowing technique that will be applied to a tilt-a-bowl and designed to look like a fish bowl!

Clay / Pottery Painting
A clay slab rolling technique will be applied to make a personalized name plaque that can be hung in your child’s room.
We will really let loose and apply several painting techniques to create a great looking “Messy Plate”!
It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

Clay / Glass Fusing
A hand-built clay cat or dog pencil holder will be created and painted.
We will also make a very cute cat or dog photo holder out of glass!
Abstract Art

Pottery Painting / Glass Fusing
A dinner plate or a pasta bowl will be painted by applying abstract designs in sections onto the piece.
The fun does not stop there – we will also be painting a design on a four inch piece of glass then cover it with glass frit to complete a unique “frit painting”. The piece will then be slumped into a bowl.

Glass Fusing / Clay
These are very cool projects!
We will trace your child’s hand on a piece of glass then we will cut out the shape. The kids will then be able to decorate their hand with pieces of colorful glass! The hands will be fused and we will apply a hook so you can hang it up.
We will also get your child’s foot print in clay and they will turn it into a really fun one-of-a-kind flip-flop!
