“Christmas Platter” Handprint Workshop @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Join us for a special event where families can create a personalized “Handprint Christmas Platter”! This fun and memorable activity is perfect for kids and parents to collaborate on a unique gift for the holidays. Here’s what to expect:

Event Details:

• Date: December 8th
• Time Slots: 11:00 – 1:00 PM and 4:00 – 5:30 PM (additional slots may open based on demand)

How It Works:

1. Choose a Design: Upon arrival, families can choose a design for their platters. We have a wreath design and a tree design on site. We may be able to help with other design ideas depending on the details. You can also email us an idea ahead and we can let you know if that design is something we can help create. We will have a few different platters to choose from and they will be priced separately.  Your registration fee covers our custom painting and design service fee. Platter prices range from $35 to $50. 
2. Handprint Creation: Kids will dip their hands in non-toxic, washable glaze and press them onto the platter of their choosing. Our staff will be on hand to assist with this process to ensure a good handprint every time. For children under 2 years of age, it can be very difficult to get a hand-print and we recommend a foot print for this age.
3. Personalization: After creating the handprints (or footprints), parents will provide us with the details for the plate personalization. This includes the child’s name, a special message or date, and up to 20 letters of additional text.
4. Final Touches: Our team will take care of all the final touches, including adding the custom text and ensuring the design is just right. We will text you pictures of your completed plate for approval before they are fired. The plates will be ready for pickup before Christmas and we’ll notify you as soon as they’re done.

Registration:

• Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your time slot early. Book your spot through the tickets link for a 15 minute design and printing session between 11am and 1 PM or 4:00 – 5:30 PM. If these slots fill up quickly, we may open additional time slots to accommodate more families or add additional days.

Additional Information:

• Safety First: We use only non-toxic, washable glazes that are safe for children and your platters will be food safe and fully functional, although hand wash only.
• What to Bring: Just bring your creativity and a willingness to get a little messy! All materials will be provided.

Your reservation is non-refundable, however should not be able to make your scheduled time for some reason, we will work with you to come another time to get your handprints during our regular open hours.
