Clay Handbuilding; Wall Planter @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Our expert instructor will guide you through every step to create this beautiful wall planter, no experience required. The finished planter is 8-10 inches in diameter with a pocket depth of 2-3 inches. We’ll will have a wide variety of textures to add and molds for small flowers and bees that can be applied, but there are limitless possibilities for adding creative embellishments to this piece. We expect this workshop will take about 2 hours to complete. This project is appropriate for ages 16 and up, no previous clay experience is required. Teens age 13-16 may also purchase a seat if attending with a paid adult.

This piece uses the help of TP and Paper towel rolls for keeping the planter pocket straight while drying, so if you have any to bring with you we would appreciate them!  We also always appreciate newsprint to utilize in our clay workshops.

Your piece will be fired within 10 days of the workshop and your purchase includes an additional visit to glaze your piece.

Our clay glazing policy is as follows: projects created in Clay Workshop need to be glazed within 2 weeks of firing or they can pick up and save them to bring back in the next 90 days to glaze if they need more time. Projects older than 90 days can still be glazed and fired for a $10 fee. We may not be able to fire older projects in November and December.
