Garden Fairy Stoneware Handbuilding Class

Bring a touch of magic to your garden! In this creative workshop, you’ll sculpt your own Garden Fairy using durable stoneware clay. Your fairy can be glued onto a garden stake (stake not included) or simply nestled into your garden beds. Stoneware is weather-resistant — making it perfect for outdoor art that can stay out all year.

This is a two-visit project: the first visit to handbuild your piece, and a second visit to glaze it after the first firing. You can return to glaze during any of our regular drop-in hours. Projects must be glazed within 2 weeks of firing, or you can pick them up and bring them back within 90 days. (After 90 days, a $10 firing fee applies.)

The total project cost is $40. A $10 ticket holds your seat, and the $30 balance is due at the workshop.

The workshop will take about 90 minutes to 2 hours. It’s designed for ages 16 and up, though teens 13–16 are welcome if attending with a paid adult. All experience levels are welcome!

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, with at least 48 hours’ notice, you may transfer your ticket to another workshop or apply the value toward other studio activities. (Please email theceramicstudioetc@gmail.com to transfer.) With less than 48 hours’ notice, we are unable to refund or credit due to material preparation.
