Highland Cows! Handbuilding Workshop @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Get ready to sculpt some serious cuteness in clay!
In this fun and lighthearted workshop, you’ll create your very own Highland Cow sculpture—those irresistibly shaggy, horned charmers that have captured the hearts of our studio guests!

Class Details:

• Duration: Approximately 2 hours
• Cost: $10 deposit holds your seat; the remaining balance of $30 is paid at the workshop (total project cost is $40).
• Project: Handbuilding a playful clay Highland Cow sculpture
• Glazing: Includes a second visit to glaze your piece after its first firing. Your sculpture will be ready to glaze within 10 days.
• Glazing Availability: Come in during open studio hours—our doors are open 6 days a week to fit your schedule.

Whether you go whimsical, rustic, or downright adorable, your handcrafted Highland Cow will be a delightful addition to your home décor or a perfect handmade gift. One of our experienced instructors will walk you through every step—no clay experience necessary!

Age Guidelines:
This class is suitable for ages 16 and up. Teens 13–16 may also attend with a paid adult.

Glazing Policy:
Projects created in Clay Workshop must be glazed within 2 weeks of firing. If you need more time, you’re welcome to pick up your piece and bring it back within 90 days. Projects older than 90 days may still be glazed and fired for a $10 fee. Please note we may not be able to fire older pieces in November and December.

Cancellation Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable. With at least 48 hours’ notice, you may transfer your ticket to another workshop or use the value for drop-in painting or fusing. With less than 48 hours’ notice, we are unable to offer credit or refunds due to prep already being completed. To reschedule, please call or email us at [email protected].
