Kids Clay Camp: Gingerbread House! @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Step into a world of creativity and holiday cheer at our Kids Clay Camp: Gingerbread House! This hands-on clay handbuilding class lets your child craft a festive gingerbread house from scratch—without the mess of frosting or gingerbread crumbs. Perfect for children age 8 and older, this camp will be full of seasonal fun!

Our studio is packed with tools, stamps, molds, and whimsical accessories to help add all the tiny details that make your gingerbread house unique. Think of candy-cane pathways, frosting trim, gingerbread shingles, or anything else that feels festive. Our friendly instructors will be there to guide your child along the way.

This is a designed to be a drop off event for children age 8 and up, parents are not expected to stay. We do however have free wifi, parents are welcome to set up in our regular studio space and get some work done as regular studio hours don’t open until noon.

We expect this workshop will take about and hour to build, then we’ll break for a snack and glaze planning and the remaining time will be used to glaze their piece. After the workshop, the piece will take about 10 days to dry and will then be kiln fired twice.  We expect these to be ready for pick no later than December 16th. This project is appropriate for ages 8 and up, no previous clay experience is required.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non- refundable however with at least 24 hours advanced notice you can transfer your ticket to another workshop or event, not limited to Clay Hand building or use your ticket price in the studio for drop in painting or fusing, just bring your printed ticket with you. Unfortunately with less than 24 hours notice, materials have been prepped and we cannot credit or refund your ticket price.
