Mini Art Camp: Summer Olympics! @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Join us for a fun and creative Mini Art Camp with a Summer Olympics theme! This camp is perfect for young artists looking to explore a variety of mediums and create unique projects. Participants will have the opportunity to complete three exciting projects in at least three different mediums: ceramics, fused glass, and acrylic painting.

Projects Include:

1. Ceramic Trophy Painting: Paint your very own ceramic trophy to celebrate your artistic achievements!
2. Custom Jersey: Design and paint a Jersey on a wood board, showcasing your creativity and love for the Summer Olympics.
3. Fused Glass Sun-chime: Create a beautiful fused glass sun-chime that captures the light and adds a touch of color to any room.

What to Bring: All materials will be provided. Just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Ages: entering 2nd grade and up!

Who: Unless specified in the camp description above, all camps are appropriate for artists entering 2nd grade and up, keeping in mind that camp is a drop off and parents do not stay on site for the camp day. We understand that every child is different, and may be mature for their age. However, our camps are geared to the ages specified (meaning it may be difficult to make some or most of the projects without more staff assistance). Please respect our age requirements, they are set to ensure every camper can have a great camp experience. Our daily open drop in hours are perfect for younger artists to create with adult assistance and our story times are great for the youngest artists. 

When: Camp runs from 1pm-5pm, we ask that you arrive around 4:45am for pick up, artists often want to show you there work before they leave for the day. 

What to bring/wear: Art camp can be messy!  We encourage artists to wear comfortable clothes that are ok to get stained or bring a smock t-shirt for when we use non-washable materials.  A water bottle and snack labeled with artist’s name is also necessary, we do take time for snack each day.

Cancellation policy is as follows: Cancel 2 weeks or more in advance – full refund minus credit card processing fees (currently 6%, we are charged for the both the original transaction and the refund transaction) Cancel inside of two weeks – 50% refund. You may sell or transfer your week to another artist, in this case please call the studio so we can gather information for the new attendee.  Need to transfer to a different camp?  With at least 2 weeks notice, we are happy to transfer you to another week free of charge.
