Beginner Wheel Throwing – 6-Week Course
$295 | Includes Clay, Instruction, Studio Time, Firing & Glazing

Ready to dive into the world of wheel throwing? This 6-week mixed beginner/intermediate level class is designed to give you a strong foundation on the pottery wheel while keeping busy schedules in mind. Over the course of the class, you’ll learn how to:

• Throw cylinders (cups), bowls, and plates

• Attach handles to make mugs

• Glaze your finished pieces using our studio dip glazes

Your class includes:

• One 25 lb bag of stoneware clay

• Up to 3 hours of weekly drop-in practice time during open studio hours

• Standard set of tool to keep and start your tool collection.

• Dip glazes to use on your pieces (brush-on glazes may incur additional cost)

• Instruction and firing for your finished pieces

• Class dates are October 22nd, 29th, November 5th, 12th and 19th. & December 3rd.  (Skip Thanksgiving week!)

If you miss a class, we encourage you to use your weekly open studio hours to get extra practice and stay on track—no formal make-ups will be offered. Please bring a bath towel to protect your lap—wheel throwing gets messy!

No experience needed—just come ready to learn, get muddy, and make something awesome!
