Clay Snowman Handbuilding Class

Join us for a fun and creative evening as we guide you through crafting your very own clay snowman! In this beginner-friendly workshop, one of our talented instructors will teach you step-by-step how to shape and design your snowman masterpiece. This class is perfect for ages 16 and up, and teens aged 13-16 are welcome to join if accompanied by a paid adult. No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your imagination!

What to Expect:

• This workshop will take 2 hours or less, depending on if you decide to make additional pieces. Ticket price includes one snowman weighing approximately 1.5 lbs and standing about 6″ tall. There should be time to make more than one should you decide to. Additional pieces will be available at per pound pricing.
• For returning artists: If you have attended more than one clay class with us and feel confident creating independently, this is a good class to attend and create pieces in the new studio space on your own.
• 2-Visit Experience:
  1. Workshop Night: During the class, you’ll create your snowman using handbuilding techniques.
  2. Return Visit to Glaze: After we dry and fire your piece (about a week), you’ll return during our open studio hours to glaze it. You’ll have two weeks after notification to complete the glazing step.

Once glazed, your snowman will go through a final firing and be ready for pickup within a week. The price includes both your workshop and return visit to glaze, as well as all materials and firings.

Our clay glazing policy is as follows: projects created in Clay Workshop need to be glazed within 2 weeks of firing or they can pick up and save them to bring back in the next 90 days to glaze if they need more time. Projects older than 90 days can still be glazed and fired for a $10 fee. We may not be able to fire older projects in November and December.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non- refundable however with at least 48 hours advanced notice you can transfer your ticket to another workshop or event, not limited to Clay Hand building or use your ticket price in the studio for drop in painting or fusing, just bring your printed ticket with you. Unfortunately with less than 48 hours notice, materials have been prepped and we cannot credit or refund your ticket price.
