Stoneware Glazing Party! @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Join us at The Ceramic Studio Etc on September 21st for an exciting Stoneware Glazing Workshop where we will be showcasing a variety of techniques to elevate your pottery creations to the next level. We’ll be instructing the flower technique that we introduced during our first stoneware workshops and the crystal belt style that is great for mugs and tall items. For the first time we’ll be trying out the peacock technique, a technique that has become a favorite of stoneware artists! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced ceramic artist, this workshop promises to be a valuable and inspiring experience. We look forward to seeing you at the workshop and helping you unleash your creativity with stoneware glazing!

Stoneware is a durable clay body that is fired to a higher temperature and is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe, it’s great for kitchen pieces and anything that might withstand weather. The glazes used on Stoneware are incredible! Drippy and flowing, if you’re looking for a fun and fool proof way to glaze your next serving piece, or new favorite mug this workshop is for you! We’ll be instructing on how to use our stoneware glazes and which colors work together best. You’ll have a few of our tested color combinations to choose from and we’ll guide you through the process. No matter how alike pieces look before firing, each comes out unique and beautiful! pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 10 days of the workshop. This class is for ages 13 and up.
