Get Creative this Spring: Handbuild Your Own Mug or Planter!

Looking for a fun, hands-on way to celebrate the arrival of spring? Join us for a creative clay adventure where you’ll get to design and build your very own mug or planter from scratch! Whether you’ve always wanted to try your hand at pottery or you’re already a pro, this class is perfect for all skill levels.

You’ll start by learning simple yet effective handbuilding techniques to shape your piece—whether you envision a cozy mug for your morning coffee or a charming planter to brighten up your space. Then, let your imagination flow as you add personal touches, from handles and textures to decorative elements. It’s all about making something uniquely yours!

The fun doesn’t stop there! After your creation dries and is fired (about 10 days), you’ll return for a follow-up session to glaze your piece with the colors and finishes of your choice during our drop in hours. Your finished pottery will be both functional and a perfect reflection of your creativity.

Reserve your spot with a $10 ticket, and the remainder of the $45 project fee will be paid during the class. This price covers both sessions and all materials needed to bring your vision to life.

This workshop is designed for age 16 and over, all experience levels welcome. Teens age 13-16 may also purchase a seat if attending with a paid adult.

Our clay glazing policy is as follows: projects created in Clay Workshop need to be glazed within 2 weeks of firing or they can pick up and save them to bring back in the next 90 days to glaze if they need more time. Projects older than 90 days can still be glazed and fired for a $10 fee. We may not be able to fire older projects in November and December.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non- refundable however with at least 48 hours advanced notice you can transfer your ticket to another workshop or event, not limited to Clay Hand building or use your ticket price in the studio for drop in painting or fusing, just bring your printed ticket with you. Unfortunately with less than 48 hours notice, materials have been prepped and we cannot credit or refund your ticket price.
