Stoneware Peacock Technique Workshop @ The Ceramic Studio Etc

Join us to glaze a beautiful Stoneware piece!  This workshop will highlight our Peacock design, you can choose to put this technique on any of our Stoneware pieces, they are mostly mugs, plates and bowls of various sizes. You will pay for the piece you choose to glaze at the class, so additional purchase is required. Stoneware pieces range in price from $27-$75.  Most mugs are $27-$30, serving bowls are $40-70. Plates are $40-$60 and we have a beautiful large charcuterie tray that is $59. We have a variety of color combinations to choose from. In this workshop we will walk you through the design application step by step!

Stoneware is a durable clay body that is fired to a higher temperature and is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe, it’s great for kitchen pieces and anything that might withstand weather. The glazes used on Stoneware are incredible! Drippy and flowing, if you’re looking for a fun and fool proof way to glaze your next serving piece, or new favorite mug this workshop is for you! We’ll be instructing on how to use our stoneware glazes and which colors work together best. You’ll have a few of our tested color combinations to choose from and we’ll guide you through the process. No matter how alike pieces look before firing, each comes out unique and beautiful! pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 10 days of the workshop. This class is for ages 13 and up.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non- refundable however with at least 48 hours advanced notice you can transfer your ticket to another workshop or event, or use your ticket price in the studio for drop in painting or fusing, just bring your printed ticket with you after you’ve notified us.
