For this month's hand built mug, Marla is teaching us how to "belly out" our clay! We’re using Stoneware clay and glaze this month again. Stoneware is dishwasher and microwave safe and a very durable clay body. The glazes are amazing for Stoneware and you’ll get to learn all about them when you return to glaze. Join us for a summer inspired planter workshop, you won't want to miss this evening of fun playing in the mud! Local Clay Artist Marla James will guide you through every step to create this beautiful wall planter, no experience required. We expect this workshop will take about 2 hours to complete. This project is appropriate for ages 16 and up, no previous clay experience is required. Teens age 13-16 may also purchase a seat if attending with a paid adult.
